Since late 2005, I've had the priviledge of participating in a wonderful comic art narrative [as a colorist] called "Revolution on the Planet of the Apes", published by a relatively new Canadian comic book company by the name of MR.COMICS.
MR. COMICS, Revolution on the Planet of the Apes 6 issue series is published by Stephen W. Ballantyne, Edited by Ty Templeton, Plotted by Ty Templeton and Joe O'Brien with dialogue written by Joe O'Brien, art by Salgood Sam [aka Max Douglas, issues 1-2 and 5.] and Tom Fowler [aka Tom Fowler, Issues 3-4 and 6.] and coloured {Personally, I prefer the spelling "color".] by myself {Issues 1-4.} and the appropriately named Art Lyon [Issues 5-6.}
This is comic art rock'n'roll. Everyone here steps up to the plate and hits a homer as far as I'm concerned. The diversity and enthusiasm is abundant. If you love comic art, please check out this series. Even if I do say so myself.
...have agreed to represent my soon-to-be-finished Graphic Novel, "To Get Her". I can hardly believe it. It's an honor that I don't take lightly and my motivation to finish this work and do the absolute best I can has increased exponentially. Gentlemen, thank you!
As an old bookstore guy, I'm really pleased to see the growth of the book trade aspects of comics. Slowly but surely the available publishers are growing - and that's feeding into the slow growth of the book trade side of comics. Yay diversity!
